- Hex FileView is a Windows program and requires Windows 3.1 or later.

- INSTALLING THE PROGRAM

- If you have the installation files shown below on floppy disks,
- then insert disk 1 and from the program managers file menu choose
- run and type a:setup and press enter. (This assumes that a: is
- the drive letter of the drive that contains these files).

- If you downloaded these files from a BBS then you may need to copy the
- program, text and support files to a separate directory on your hard
- disk Example: c:\viewer (see your DOS manual for information on
- creating directories and copying files). After copying the files, go
- to the program managers file menu and select New - Program Item - Ok
- and type in for the command line c:\viewer\fileview and press Ok.

- Note: If the above files have file extensions with an understrike
- as the last character (Example: FILEVIEW.EX_), then the files are
- compressed and can be uncompressed using the DOS program EXPAND.EXE
- or automatically using the setup program SETUP.EXE. The setup
- files are optional. When they are not included it is to save
- download time on BBSs.
